Ideally the role play is suitable for 1 – 6 year olds. We have ensured that under 1’s have been provided with a safe area, with age appropriate toys. Although if your child is older, and enjoys role play, they are very welcome.
Imagination Corner want each session to be a calm and inviting experience. Therefore, the numbers will be limited to 15 children and pre book will be the main way to book a session as we are unable to guarantee there will be space if you attempt to walk in.
If you are unable to make the session you have booked we are unable to offer a refund but you can move the booking. If Imagination Corner have to cancel the session you will either be issued a full refund or the option to move to your session.
You are still welcome in for the session but we are unable to offer an extension of play.
There is a customer toilet available which has a baby changing unit, a potty and a step. Please use the nappy bin provided.
Imagination Corner does not have access to their own dedicated car park. But there is local parking in the following places:
Sainsburys car park (SO15 5LL) – free for 90 minutes.
Malborough Road North Car Park (SO16 4RJ which is a side road beside the Explore Learning) – 2 hours is free but you still need to obtain a ticket and up to 3 hours is 50p.
Alternatively, Imagination Corner is near the bus stops on Shirley high street.
You can join us by using the following bus routes:
From Thornhill – Bluestar number 7 & 18 or First bus number 3 to Shirley Precinct.
From Weston – First number 2 to Shirley Precinct.
From Millbrook – Bluestar number 17 and 18 or First number 2 to Shirley Precinct.

We do have a small space for pushchairs but we would ask, where possible, for you to not bring pushchairs to your session to make sure we have lots of room to have fun.
For the grown ups there will be cakes and biscuits available to purchase, as well as tea and coffee and other refreshments
For the little people there will be drinks and small snacks available.

Grown ups must:
- Supervise their child/children at all times ensuring they are using the equipment both safely and age appropriate.
- Remain on the premises at all time.
- Know where your child/children are at all times and also ensure the child/children are able to locate you at all time.
- Be aware for the safety of other children Imagination Corner reserve the right to remove children.
- Be aware that Imagination Corner also reserve the right to refuse admission.
Everyone must:
- Be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Imagination Corner do not accept responsibility for supervision of any child.
- Please remove shoes before entering and socks must be worn at all time.
- Not consume food or drink whilst playing with the toys. Please head to the designated area for this.
- Be aware that fighting, bullying and use of offensive language will not be tolerated and Imagination Corner reserve the right to ask you to leave.
- Report all accidents to a member of staff, so these can be logged.
- Report any damage to the equipment either accidental or deliberate to an Imagination Corner staff member This will support us to ensure everyone is safe.
Grown ups please note that every consideration has been given for the safety of your children. However, Imagination Corner cannot be held responsible for accidents that occur as a result of children playing with the equipment.
